Sri Aurobindo Mahamandir
The Heart of Ompuri
Sri Aurobindo Mahamandir stands at the heart of Ompuri. Its design is inspired by cosmology and represents the four powers of the Mother – Maheshwari, Mahakali, Mahalaxmi, Mahasaraswati.
It is not a temple with images, but a space of collective yoga, meditation, study, and cultural activities.
At its centre, relics of Sri Aurobindo are enshrined in a circular marble structure beneath a conical dome, symbolising the gathering and channeling of cosmic energy. Learn more about Ompuri.
