    Sri Aurobindo Mahamandir

    The Heart of Ompuri

Sri Aurobindo Mahamandir stands at the heart of Ompuri. Its design is inspired by cosmology and represents the four powers of the MotherMaheshwari, Mahakali, Mahalaxmi, Mahasaraswati.

It is not a temple with images, but a space of collective yoga, meditation, study, and cultural activities.

At its centre, relics of Sri Aurobindo are enshrined in a circular marble structure beneath a conical dome, symbolising the gathering and channeling of cosmic energy. Learn more about Ompuri.
